the brasserie bar had a very limited menu.. my kids were disappointed as there were no pizzas available. i ordered the beef rib, and it was really horrible, so fatty i could barely eat it. at breakfast, there was no orange juice only a sweet orange cordial. the pastry selection was poor, just a few squashed bits in a basket..

The pool WAS advertised as open until 8pm, but I got kicked out at 7:30pm. What A rip-off! The pool area seemed rather old-fashioned too.

the location was ideal for exploring. the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options.. i especially enjoyed the fresh pastries. the leisure center had a well-kept pool and a relaxing steam room.

the car parking cost wasn't covered, and i had to pay a fee per night. it added a slight extra expense.

The staff was super nice and really were very good for us. The food was good (especially the lamb!), and the pool was great for a quick swim. I found every part of the hotel super clean and well maintained .

The room looked a little tired. I noticed some scratches on the bathroom door, but it was a minor issue.

A lovely escape

The bar food was AMAZING!!! I found it unexpectedly delicious. Our bedroom was super clean, and it was a delight. The staff were so nice and always available when i needed them. I will definitely return in the future.

I had a little issue with the room. It needed an electric heater for extra heat because it was so cold, and I expected more from a 4-star hotel. I am sure they will resolve it as soon as possible.
